The Sponsorship Disclosure is a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requirement that all social media influencers and content creators disclose that they are being paid to promote their sponsors.

The idea of this is to help you be clear to your audience that you are paid (you don't have to say how much) to create content for your sponsor.

The FTC has issued specific guidelines on how to make this disclosure and we have put together some examples to help you. For more in-depth information, be sure to check out our FTC Guidelines Best Practices.
